Pastor Joseph Darkwa
Pastor Joseph Darkwa is the founder and senior pastor of Mount Zion Heaven Minded Ministry International. Called by God to preach the uncompromising Word with love and conviction, Pastor Darkwa leads the congregation with a vision rooted in holiness, prayer, and biblical truth.
His ministry is anchored in Colossians 3:2 — “Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things” — a verse that defines both the name and the mission of the church.

Vivian Osei Darkwa
Pastor's Wife · First Lady
Vivian Osei Darkwa is the First Lady of Mount Zion Heaven Minded Ministry International and a steadfast pillar of the church community. Standing alongside Pastor Joseph Darkwa, she brings warmth, wisdom, and a servant's heart to every aspect of ministry life.
Vivian has a deep passion for prayer, discipleship, and nurturing relationships within the congregation. Her gracious spirit and dedication to the people of God make her an inspiration to women and families throughout the ministry. She believes wholeheartedly that a heaven-minded life begins in the home.

Assistant Pastor · Worship Leader & Singer
Ebenezer Boakye Jr serves as Assistant Pastor at Mount Zion Heaven Minded Ministry International, walking alongside Pastor Darkwa to shepherd the congregation with humility and purpose. Called to both ministry and music, Ebenezer carries a rare anointing that flows seamlessly between the pulpit and worship.

Mount Zion Heaven Minded Ministry International was founded with a simple but powerful mandate: to raise up a people who are genuinely heaven minded — individuals who prioritize the Kingdom of God above all else.
Located at 2551 Division Street in Joliet, Illinois, our church serves as a spiritual home for believers of all backgrounds. We gather to worship, pray, study the Word, and equip one another for daily life.
Our doors are open to anyone who is hungry for God. Whether you're new to faith or have been walking with the Lord for decades, you belong here.
